We dialed up the design of this beautiful lake home retreat with a fabulous industrial feel! For this home, we layered contemporary industrial elements into the bright open spaces that boast soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and endless panoramic views.
With beautifully stained concrete floors throughout, the open concept living, dining, and kitchen areas flow together to create one stunning aesthetic. The soothing monochromatic palette of soft blue-gray, brushed nickel, and stainless steel in the kitchen sets the stage to showcase the deeper tones of slate blue and rich, luxurious cognac in the living area. The vintage-style copper kitchen fixture seamlessly complements the design as well.
The rough-hewn mantle, ceiling beams, distressed wood furniture pieces, and gorgeous stone hearth anchor the living and dining spaces and provide a distinct contrast to the softer lines of the upholstered furnishings. We had so much fun finishing the look with décor elements and wall art with an upscale industrial feel. Each space also has Semmelmann Interiors® signature touch of custom-made organic botanical designs, adding life and brightness to every room.
The master bedroom is a continuation of the wonderful color and vibe with the same stunning view. The glass doors open onto the expansive balcony that runs the home's length; what a fabulous way to wake up in the morning! But for those days when a quiet, cozy retreat is in order, we continued the wood and metal elements with signature sliding privacy doors. The abstract wall art echoes the color palette throughout, and the custom-made bedding is neutral, soft, and soothing—a perfect place to relax and unwind.
