Better Together

At Susan Semmelmann Interiors, we often say that less is more when it comes to home design, but sometimes (only sometimes) more is better! More pendant lights, that its! Pendants are often used in singular applications in kitchens and bathrooms, adding a touch of elegance and beautiful sparkle to any area. But we also love the effect of using multiple pendants in a group to create a custom installation that is one-of-a-kind and wholly unique. This week’s cover image features heavenly cloud-inspired pendants placed throughout the room resulting in a gorgeous dream space with a soothing ethereal vibe. These amazing designs showcase the stunning effect that can be accomplished by strategic placement of multiple pendants – grouping and layering the same style and size, or using different variations and sizes with the same look and feel. The result is a multidimensional look with loads of visual interest and appeal. In our design of last year’s Fort Worth Magazine Dream Home, the living area features several installations consisting of eight pendant lights each. As you can see in the final image, the chandelier effect is a showstopping element in the overall design – matching the room in scale and sophistication. At Susan Semmelmann Interiors, we put the pieces of your home design together in fresh and unexpected ways. We love working with our clients every day to accomplish their home dreams because, of course, we’re better together!
