By definition, these design terms are opposites; industrial is raw, utilitarian, and edgy, while chic is elegant, fashionable, and finished. But you know what they say? Opposites attract, and in this case, boy do they ever! These images show the gorgeous possibilities when incorporating this look and vibe into a space. The hallmarks of this design style are elements like exposed bricks and beams, metal structures, cement floors, and open, loft-like spaces, juxtaposed against sleek lighting, aged woods, elegant furnishings, focal artwork, and soft layering pieces. The result is a rich and stunning composition that is both masculine and feminine, built on a foundation of bold lines with a warm and inviting finish.
