As you can see, depending on the craftsperson's style, the results can vary anywhere from beautifully raw and organic to elegantly sleek and sophisticated. Some artisans leave the naturally occurring holes and cracks, resulting in a lovely sculptural feel, while others fill them with clear or colored resins to highlight the spaces for a more modern twist.
